Cannabis: Let’s Talk Alberta is a community conversation research project funded by Health Canada in partnership with the University of Victoria’s Insitute of Substance Use Research. This is a Canada wide approach to open the discussion with the advent of the decriminalization of cannabis. As this is an active research project, the comments gathered during this interactive discussion are very valuable. The results of this program will be compiled with others from across Canada to contribute to thier study on national cannabis use.
SWAT’s trained facilitators aim to lead the community in group dialogue, discussing participants’ views on cannabis, how legalization affects our community, and what is needed to change as a community. Bring your thoughts and opinions, and learn the perspective of others from your community.
SWAT offers dialogue events at scheduled events for the public, and is available to facilitate interested community groups. This program is provided at no cost.
